The SmallBMS NG is an all-in-one Battery Management System (BMS) designed for Victron Lithium NG batteries (not compatible with Lithium Battery Smart batteries). It monitors and protects the batteries by managing charge and load disconnects and providing pre-alarms for low battery voltage. The SmallBMS NG is a straightforward and cost-effective alternative to the VE.Bus BMS NG for applications that don’t require integration with Victron inverter/chargers. It provides essential lithium battery protection without the added complexity of VE.Bus communication and is therefore not suitable for use with VE.Bus inverter/chargers such as MultiPlus and Quattro. With built-in Bluetooth, it connects directly to all lithium NG batteries in the system for central monitoring via VictronConnect.
